CoachBray
Would anyone like to join Blackman and Ravenwood on Dec 6 at Blackman? Weigh in at 5 and wrestle at 6.

franksimpson
If you can't find another team maybe you could join MBA and Ryan that day. We already have Wilson Central and we are looking for another team or two. Let me know. Thanks.
cbg
MBA, Blackman, Wilson Central, Ravenwood & Father Ryan would be a great way to open the season. Is there a chance that this could happen. It's been reported that the Irish will be down next season so it may be a good opportunity to take them off the top pedestal.

cbg
...like 3-4 years ago... what a surprise with Blackman over the eventual state champs Absolutely like 3-4 years ago... it's time for the best teams (public & private) to begin wrestling each other every season in big dual matches that should take place at 6:00pm or 7:00pm during the week. The problem is many times when a team is down they avoid the best competition but then they want to step up when they have a strong team. Why not just compete against the very best possible competition regardless of how strong your team is that season? Never forget that no one cares or remembers how a team does at the beginning of the season, only if they won the state championship. Pat Simpson is a master at throwing his young guys to the wolves early in the season to make his team peak in February and become state championship contender. How can a coach fix the problems his wrestlers may have if he doesn't know what is broken. Defeating inferior competition only reinforces bad habits. CoachKramer
Never count the Irish out. Coach Pat does a remarkable job there and always produces a strong team as does Coach Frank. That's why we wrestle both of them at the start of every season going on 5 or 6 years now. We use them as a measuring stick on where we are as a team. its trial by fire for us at the start of this season. in the first 3 weeks of the season we will see, Summit, Cleveland , soddy, walker valley, Father ryan, MBA Independence, siegel among others.

Sommers
This is also why Bradley Central's dynasty is coming back strong, perhaps we haven't seen the Bear Nation at its strongest and the measuring stick will not be like fantasy football guessing
