Best, most athletic 1-2 punch for Govs since at least 07. maybe longer. Myrick is the best QB for WB since McMahon and King is most athletic RB they've had except B. Walker. IF Heritage hadn't lost their RB, this could have been a breakout year for all of our schools. I easily could see all four schools with 1st round playoff wins.

King is very good, but I would have to say Darren Garner was the most athletic back we've had. He could fly. T.J King is more of a power back.

Heritage has two good running backs that are left and it is tough that one ventured off somewhere else but from what I hear is that they think their a lot better as a team than last year. They need to improve on defense if their going to be better. Even though one kid left keep in mind that the position was shared until one of them got hurt leaving the other with lots more playing time. No doubt in my mind that the offense will be just as good in 2016.

I don't mean to criticize Myrick at all, but Tyler Burstrom was just a winner. I'd take him on my team any day.

Not going to join argument on who is the best QB but I can say I was sure impressed with Myrick when I went to the Loudon scrimmage. The young man was dead on target. Look for him to have a great senior season.

Hold on. At least 32Hammer says "since 2007". Let's say you started paying attention to WB football when you were 12. That's about 24 years of "athletic" running backs you didn't see.

You think Myrick is better than Burstrom?

Taking nothing away from Burstrom, he was a great athlete but he had a great team around him. I think Myrick is a outstanding QB. Accurate arm, command and understanding of the offense and tough.  RIght now I would rank WB All time QBs as McMahon, Myrick, Burtstrom, Young, whitehead, White, Keller. I'm sure I'm forgetting several.

 No doubt. If they had the same players around them, I think Myrick has a slight edge. But I would want Tyler on my team too. He could play different positions.

 Good point. Hope you're dead on. I would love to see all of our teams at least in the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Garner was fast. T.J. is almost as fast but much bigger and stronger and still has another year to develop. T.J. could excel at several different sports in high school with very little effort. If you were coaching 3 different sports in HS, would you take TJ over Garner if you could only have one? I think that's the better way to determine the most athletic.
