Chattanooga Central @ Notre Dame 8/19

the fighting Irish traveled over to Central last year and lit up the score board 40-6.....this was the first time ND had played Central since losing to the Purple Pounders in 2007 6-26.....is this Friday night a repeat of last year or does Centrals Bradshaw have his new team up to the task against the Irish

You've been paying attention in class PA. Central hired a defensive minded head coach. Will keep them in games might not win them. ND starting d is not bad but reserves aren't plentiful.

Booger got to correct ya on one thing Notre Dame played Central in Finley back to back years 2007 and 2008. Lost both years to the Pounders. That said Should be a good test for the new Pounder skipper who has Central football looking up but still feel the Irish got a few too many weapons at the moment.

Until The Pounders can show different the Irish will name the score. Takes more than a coaching change the first year to turn the program around from the abysmal seasons the pounders have had the past few seasons. The administration/school board has hurt that program for far too long for them to turn it around in 1 off-season. ND 42 Chatt Central 12.

all i remember is they were beating us; as they normally did..... Booger didnt miss bad to have not done a history dig up

You are 100% right.  And actually hiring a defensive minded coach may hurt them even more.  WHY???  Because their offense is awful.  The only thing better than last year is the coach and the locker room.  Just being truthful.

If Central gives time to let Braswell work Central will become competitive in the near future. I'm not sure if they have enough on offense to keep up with ND but their defense will keep it close for a while. I think ND wins but I do think good coaching can make up for a lot. Even an 0-10 team last year.

 

ND wins but it's closer than you think. 24-7 ND scoring a late touchdown to make it look worse than it really was.
