Morristown West at Greeneville

Morristown West takes to the road to play the Greene Devils on Friday. I think Morristown West wont have enough to beat a very good Greeneville squad. Greeneville will win 28-17. What do y'all think?

Have not seen Greeneville yet but MoWest shredded us (Boone) in the jamboree.

However I think Greeneville's offense will prove too much, so I go with the Greenies by 10.

Great early game for both teams.I know what the Devils have but not so much about this years MW team.I know they are always loaded with talent and expect this year to be the same.

I'll have more to say after West plays this afternoon, but Greeneville has only beaten West 4 times since 2001 and those 4 teams have 1 combined playoff win.  If history is any indication West wins unless they are in a really down year.

What happened 15 years ago up until the last time the schools played has nothing to do with next week.That's like saying Morristown East is the only school in Morristown that can win a football championship because of past history...

West is better than they played against Catholic. Greeneville from what I can tell is better than last year, but I have to go with West in this one. I'll say 35-28

I just looked back a few years and did see a correction to this post. I counted 2 playoff wins the year we beat west last. Just FYI haha Edited August 21, 2016 by DevilMan03

Motownanddown was referring to the West teams Greeneville beat. 2 of those teams finished with losing records and only one of them won a playoff game.

 

Back to this year, 35-28 West is my prediction.
