Possible New Regions?

That's 27 in the west and 23 in the east if we count Harriman in 1A. I think they will try to keep the numbers a little closer. What other team could be in the east the easiest?

I think Houston County, East Hickman, and Jackson County could go to different regions if needed.  The issues with drawing lines is in Mid TN in 2A.  I think Regions 1, 3, 7, and 8 are pretty cut and dried.

I don't see Adamsville or Waverly. Are you thinking they are 3A?

They are very close to 3A. If the TSSAA wants to keep the classes with equal numbers then they will have to place them in 3A.

At least 1 if not 2 teams I listed in Region 2 need to go to Region 1, but the question is who?

I would move 2 of them to Region 1 (maybe Coalfield, Oliver Springs) and put Monterey in Region 2. Those of you in the know on travel and past groupings in East TN help me out.

Geographically speaking, moving Greenback to Region 1 is a no brainer. The next most logical one would be OS.

The funny thing is that Trousdale County would have a much much easier region in 2A than they did in 1A.
