No time to rest. The biggest game on the schedule is the next game and it happens to be Hendersonville. Gallatin has to focus and realize the playoffs are in the line. I know they are already working.

Here is how I see it playing.

Gallatin wins: Hendersonville drops to 5-3 (2-3) in region and is pretty much out of playoffs.

Region standings if Gallatin wins. C.R-5-0; B-4-1; G-4-1; Hills. 3-2

Hendersonville wins: Gallatin needs to beat Hillsboro to make playoffs

region Standings if Hendersonville wins C.R. 5-0; B-4-1; Hend. 3-2; Gallatin 3-2; Hillsboro 3-2

Very exciting and important weekend.

Doesn't Hendersonville hold the head to head with Hillsboro?

Ends up being pretty simple. If Gallatin wins, they basically lock up a playoff spot because the worse they could finish with is 3 district losses which would give them tiebreaker over HV. Also if Gallatin wins it would still leave seeds 2-4 up for grabs.

If HV wins, it locks them in, as they are not going to lose to Glencliff & Hunters Lane. What it does then Is create a winner take all showdown for a playoff spot week 10 when Gallatin visits Hillsboro..

This is all assuming that Beech beats SC, which is no given either. If SC upsets Beech then we have another avenue we would have to go down for seeding

My Bad! Yes they do! I was thinking it was Hillsboro who beat Hendersonville. It was Cane Ridge. So I think the playoffs are pretty much a lock for HHS now.

Hendersonville needs to win.  There is fairly possible scenario that they miss the playoffs if they lose.  If they dont win they will need Hillsboro to lose to either Gallatin or Beech.  Very possible that Hillsboro wins both of those games.

Definitely going to try and avoid a winner take all on week 10. Gallatin is not too happy about the game with Beech and the shenanigans that went on last week. They came off the field not upset but very determined.

Very excited for this matchup, should be a great atmosphere. As far as the game, I'm hoping Gallatin can control clocmnbetter this week than last week, considering whonis playing RB. And wake the passing game back up! Devault needs the ball in his hands as well. Interested in seeing how well our defense is upntobthe task of stopping that Hatfield offensive attack. Its time for Gallatin to strap up tight and see how bad they want to win. Seems upsetting that we are talking about Gallatin playoff chances after only one region loss, but it's time to shut critics up, and get back in the win column. Beat the man across from you every play.

Businesslike attitude. Everybody knows what is at stake. No need to talk just go win!!

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
