What kind of mess is this? Was you telling him any of Griders secrets? I was not about to let slice see my Murphy Fair book or give him any of my hot cocoa. You think im joking but im not.

Reggie,

These people know we're already friends.

You've shown me all the old Murphy books and sent me fudge rounds in the mail.

It really hurts my feelings that you act like you don't know me when we're in public

Old Pirate says SP has recaptured a lot of what it had struggled with for a short time. Although crowds are really not what most feel the youngons deserve, the real core support is strong. Like Old Pirate warned the kinfolkes, the rest best listen to the warning, "It Is Coming". BTW, theys still available room for those desiring a fun cruise to some exciting times. All aboard, you will fret one day for missing out if you choose not to board the Pirate Ship

I know. That's the point. For some reason others thought because you guys had a couple of off years you'd be down forever. I thought it was silly to think that back then.

I have known about this bunch of 8th graders coming up for a while. They are a couple years older than the group i have coached and are as big as some high school teams now. Gonna be a good next four years for the pirates. After that, we will see how it goes. Interesting fact, by the time that the eighth grade bunch graduates, it will have been at least 8 years since sp had a qb from sp. Been 4 right now, maybe more.

That's about how many years yall have been on probation for something. Practicing a month for spring practice, paying college player to practice with you, and recruiting. Man if they knew about everything that went on while Mac was there you probably wouldn't have football period. Glad the majority of these kids on your team didn't play for him

Lying lips what kind of mess is this? Maybe you Jasperlites ought to worry about how to stay out of that Childress mans office instead of worrying about who Grider has on his team. Old pirate warned you fellars. You think im joking but im not.

You are correct in your assessment. The last QB from SP was in 2012. Well actually the Grider kid was from SP originally, but had attended NJ. I have thought about that QB situation as well. Edited by TheAmbassador

Could be another moving up to the Pitt next year. Of course he'd be in the Academy but big brother has been talking to him about the Academy's winning ways!

yeah recruiting, thats it.....thats what they call it when someone drops by to talk to a coach. Not sure what all went on when Mac was around, but somehow he came away scott free with everything, not sure i agree with that. Soeaking of which, Vic must have something on the ole Tssaa. Seems yall never get a sniff of trouble. Squeaky clean i guess.....lol. Qb ever move off the mtn? I wasnt casting stones when i mentioned the qb situation, but seems some of yall want to. Thats cool.

Can't believe im going to agree with a Jasper person but your former coach did get away scott free. His butt should have been in a sling. That being said there are things that you got away with that could have been bad. Good luck
