It is not a joke i heard it from a very reliable source. oliver springs, oakdale, and sunbright also put in request to go. harriman also contacted tssaa 2 years ago trying to take greenbacks spot in region 1.

I got to speak with a couple people who influence the decision on moving to Region 1. I can tell you that if we go it will be a big surprise. We feel as if we can compete where we're at. Now I guess we just wait and see.

GB looks to be putting it in overdrive now and getting warmed up for the playoffs! I see Sunbright as a good playoff primer and 1s and 2s get to take it easy the 2nd half to prepare for a run.

If I were unaka, I'd even pay double the fine to avoid going all the way to GB and face reality. Someone on here even said unaka might not have a team next year. You can thank TSSAA if this happens for watering everything down. I like it watered down personally, but it puts bad teams in the playoffs.

Playoff location question: If I understand this bracket thing correctly if the two 1's met from region 1 and 2 it would be in the 3rd round. Correct? If either are eliminated prior to 3rd round it would be played at highest seed. Correct? If the 3rd round teams were equal seeds where is game played this year? Region 1 or Region 2? Could not base it on last year because 3rd round was #1 seed GB vs #2 Harriman from same region. I don't know whose turn it would be if seed was same. Thanks!

I would hope that y'all would get to come to roan mountain.  It tends to be frozen that time of year
