I wouldn't call it selfish. What is he? 15? 16? Maybe he and others feel a lot of pressure when they hear negative comments, and I'm sure they heard many from peers, because they feel like they let somebody down. Who knows? In the scheme of things, he is very young. They are kids playing a game. It would be selfish if he were a professional. I certainly wouldn't call it disgusting.

15 and 16 -year-olds are incapable of being selfish? I could not disagree more, I've been a 15 or 16-year-old myself. comments like he made are meant to be settled in private and not hashed out on live TV or on a message board. Just my opinion. Edited by Runswithknife

He's supposed to meet privately with those adults who bashed him/team on message board? That's laughable. Adults can bash publicly. Kids should be more mature?Obviously we all were 15 and 16 once. Duh. But probably the town didn't care about what either you or I did. And message boards didn't exist.

lol!! He's not talking about message boards, no one on here is said a dad Jim word about him.. and as for people in the community, he is just going to have to suck it up and be a man.. there is a lot more to this story, that you don't know ---with your last post I can see that. you and I are from a different generation, I can tell you're probably in your early 20s.. i'm from the suck it up and get over it generation.

      You could trade or swap any 2-4 IMO . WC is rebuilding, PC loses the presence of 4 year stud Joshua Warren. Mcewen lacks the speed the other teams have , and also lost its top two way player from last season . HRB will look a lot different this coming season.. they return a ton of experience (though still a little on the young side as they are mostly JRs and SO ) but I liked what I saw out of them vs Mcnairy Central , I was hearing MC had 18 SRs , so that’s usually a death sentence vs small 1A schools I don’t care who they are . HRB looked to have the best player on the field , Brady can really run it .. reminds me of Ganaway but more of a WR .. the new regime will be a positive for them .

      Never too early for football talk and good as time as any to start a new thread for this region after spring scrimmages have been completed. This region is all up for grabs after Mckenzie.. Mckenzie should run away with it and not stop until Chattanooga . My prediction  Mckenzie  Houston County  HRB Mcewen  West Carroll  Perry County

      Agreed EastNasty. I honestly can't remember the last time metro had a big time QB recruit. I know several that played QB but weren't being recruited as a QB.
