Sweet I really like all you guy's and I know RW dose also and we would love to see you win. When I watched the C.C. game I was just amazed with the kids you all have and to go out last night like that was unbelievable.

Yep, talent all over the field in the skill positions. We have no O-line, though. The kids are not strong for the most part. I hear the accountability in the off season weight program isn't there. Some work out hard and bust their butts, and some work out when they want to. I hear practice isn't very tough. I hear a lot of the kids just play around grab a&*(*^ the whole time. It seems only the 1st team gets coached up. When our starting LB #7 went out last night his backup came in and was totally lost (not his fault at all, but lack of being coached up) you just cannot have those things going on and expect to win championships, or even compete for them. Until we have someone who comes in and demands accountability and excellence then we will be stuck with 7-4 8-3 seasons with 1st round and 2nd round exits.

I would have to agree with you. Honestly, I think his time has come and gone. If he can't do it with Tee on the team, I don't think he can do it with anybody.

Well, it ain't no use to sit and wonder why, babe

Even you don't know by now

And it ain't no use to sit and wonder why, babe

It'll never do somehow

When your rooster crows at the break of dawn

Look out your window, and I'll be gone

You're the reason I'm a-traveling on

But don't think twice, it's all right.

I believe if there was a year OR should have at least made it to cookeville, it should have been this year, with the exception of Independence, 5a is weak is year (in my opinion)

This was supposed to be a huge year. We had a lot of question marks coming in to the year with a 1st year starter @ QB and a revamped OL, but big things were expected. We never improved as the year went on, though. Actually, we regressed as the year went on. That falls solely on coaching. That's what coaching is all about training and guiding your team to be better, well that didn't happen this year. As teams like Ooltewah, Rhea County, and Farragut were improving, we were going backwards. Take that for what it's worth.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
