Round 1 Scotts Hill visits Adamsville

Can't wait until Friday night! My lions have their hands full.I totally understand that. But what An amazing opportunity for these seniors. Could have a season ending loss to the #1 ranked team or leave a mark that everyone across the state would remember forever. These Lions have nothing to lose in this game. They have everything to gain. I expect their best effort either way. I promise you no one has to explain the intensity and impact of this game. Can they pull it off . Wouldn't bet on it or against it. These men are gamers and they have grown up a lot over the last month. They beat a really good 8-2 team and lost to two very good teams plus losing to a very good riverside team on rivalry night . Throw the season out the window now, if these lions can find a wrinkle and catch a few breaks , crazier things have happened . Either way , hope it's a well played game and everyone stays healthy. It won't be the end of the world if my lions lose to the cardinals. If our best isn't good enough then so be it . You tip your hats and move on , but we will go into Friday night believing in the team from the Hill... GO LIONS ! BELIEVE!!!

Everything I've seen from the Lions we've gotta play ball this week to win ! SH is strong up front and #5 runs very well ! Same ole ball coach offence , they'll throw all over the field ! We can't sleep on the Lions or we'll be playing hoops early again !

I also want to say this. I know the QB very well and If My Lions lose We will lose to a very WELL MANNERED YOUNG MAN. So these Lions have NOT ONE THING to lose. I know there are some people that  thinks SH doesn't have a prayer in this game. That may or may not be true. Time will Tell. If SH plays a mistake free game with out any BIG turnovers. I think this will be a very GOOD game. SO PROUD that we get this opportunity. IMO i had rather be in this situation than any other for several different reasons. Cannot wait until Friday, Everyone on the Hill is looking forward to watching this game!!! If we get beat We get to go to work on some different skills!!!!!  If you can't be excited about the Task at hand something is wrong...What a game for such a young PROGRAM. THIS is EXCITING stuff!!!! #lookingforafirstdown....#relax and have fun....What a FUN WEEK of intensitty!!!

The Hill has our respect , we won't be overlooking you for sure ! Your #5 runs hard and 4 and 6 brings the lumber on every hit ! You guys have come a long way , door mat to power house ! Trust me I know we were the same way ! We saw every homecoming queen in the west side of the state for years ! Now we don't get to be many homecoming guests ! Good luck and safe travels ! Aville can make a team one demensional quickly. They will shut the run game down. SH QB will have to be lights out. If it was the QB from last year I would say Aville is in trouble. This QB is good but I don't think he will be able to carry the team on his back. I think Aville will win a close one also due to the fact that their starters will have to play a full game and they have not done that the last 3 weeks. Pray no injuries. God luck Aville!!! Good luck to both teams, much respect for both programs! If SH shows up focused and play their best ball they will make a game out of it, if not Aville will run away with it. Aville plays very consistent football so I look for them to come out and do what they do, may the best team win!

Trust me no one has to tell us what we are up against. But again we have nothing to lose! Just going to have lots of fun this week and be loose.These kids believe in each other and their coaches ! This is an exciting week!!! Good luck and hey if we lose we will have lost to an awesome program. We have all the respect in the world for adamsville . Top knotch program! We just feel like if we show up and play that we got a shot to shock the world. To be honest the polls work against teams at times and especially being undefeated. Makes it tougher at times. Who knows? Surely not me. Just hope we show up and have a chance in the 4th quarter. If not, we can get out the leather!!!!! I promise u no one from SH is predicting a win. Just hoping to compete!
