A five point game was a pretty close game i thought. Plus, a dropped int and 2 fourth down conversions from sealing it. Bout as close as you can get. I see lots of missed tackles in the ae/hampton game. Terrible terrible defense by the bulldogs.

Yes... a lot of missed tackles.. and simply could not catch them...

King, I understand (as an old ball coach and his son also does) what happened in that game and why.

You should speak to them and help them to better understand  ...Fact is, a vehicle on 3 wheels ain't much a vehicle in any aspect and MC stomped us like a mud hole 

 

'famer, I totally understand your point on the rushing game and doing what got you there....There have been teams that won it all and never threw a pass...After watching Trez's pass D, I was saying a threatening passing attack would have made a difference and likely given the W...You disagree? I think you all had the QB to do it too.

 

Truth, from the 2nd qtr on, we didn't play a lick of D against you all last season...We had almost a total shut down that still disgusts me to this day...But in these lil rural schools, it's hard to tell the response you'll get in certain situations.

It appears we didn't play much D Friday against AE either.

AE's speed had a lot to do with that and the fact we have been inexperienced and timid all season.

All we can do is go back to work....Hopefully the culture will continue to change here and more and more kids will come out to put extra work in during the off season....That's where the MC, SP, & TD programs success starts and that's why they have the "next man up" mentality

Your right passing game helps beat team like trez but there lineman and linebackers were fast to the ball. Didn't have much time to throw. I think that's how Mc gets to harper. AE LINEMAN with huge gaps. I think Mc gets to qb about as good as anyone in 2a.

I thot your O line would've held em fine...MC does a great job at getting in the back field...AE done a good job of getting into our backfield last season but we were fast enough to bait them and  get out of it....Harper is more illusive than even film shows...If you and AE win Friday, the 25th should be a whale of a game
