Forrest has been playing good ball especially late in the games. You never know when you get this far into the playoffs. Anything can happen.

Wondering if Ameriga or someone from Forrest can answer. What makes the Rockets better this year than last? I know that some have said they were improved over a year ago. Just Curious because i dont think Marion is as good.

 

Speed.......as a team, Forrest is much faster than last season. That's the only real difference I've seen.

i agree with that. also Forrest gets much better as the game goes on. That concerns me if Marion gets a jump. However, if Forrest is close like last year in the 3rd (17-10) i expect a much closer final either way

Forrest can win this game. 

 

- Marion is very very good, but not the team from last year 

- They are beatable. SP proved that. Props to them. I'm not saying we are better than SP. I'm saying Marion is beatable. 

- We have accomplished more than any team in Forrest history in # of wins and advancing to QuarterFinals

- If Scotts Hill can go to Adamsville and win, Forrest can beat Marion.

- I detect more swagger from Marion and their extended Region 3 people this year. That tells me one thing, they are more aware of Forrest this year than last. They know this isn't' a gimme, as much as they would like to brag otherwise.

- The Ross factor- Gone. Not disparaging the current coach 

- Forrest is playing with house money, most here picked Tyner and everyone picked Meigs to beat us.  

- Forget the Jackson Co game. We obviously have.

- Watching all the unbeatens go down Sat, Clemson, Wash, Michigan- seemingly impossible things can happen.  No one is unbeatable. 

- Something is going on this year. Trez loses to Mitchell. Adamsville goes down. Catholic goes down.  Trump wins. It's like God is saying, "I'm here. I will decide.."

Forrest started timid last year and if they do that Friday they will get beat by 8 TDs. They need to smashmouth Marion from the beginning and leave it all on the field. Trick plays, going on 4th, onside kicks, head games, trash talk. You don't beat Goliath by being timid.

The Titans showed a great example of making a statement game Sun. Onside kicked to start the game. Smashed GB in the mouth. They still have up 25 points and a lot of plays.

 

If Forrest plans to go out there timid and safe I'm not even sure why they would show up. Swing for the mouth early and often. Watch Remember the Titans 4500x this week. Or Rocky.

if you beat Goliath it will be ugly and needs to be a bloodletting.  an absolute nightmare. coaching timid or to stay close is pointless. all out warfare from minute 1 to minute 48

Forrest despite their accomplishments still as of now, has no idea how good they can be if they play a complete 48 min. do not let this game come to you. Take control from the start. This is not the NE Patriots it's still high school kids.
