Whitehaven vs Cordova ( The Rematch!)

I just hope we can move the ball on Da Haven Great SEC Defense....

I know Coach Jones is a darn good coach and has something up his sleeves. It's hard to beat a good team twice in the same season, just ask Mt. Juliet or Ridgeway. I think y'all gonna try to put together a stronger air attack this game. Our secondary has to be ready for that.

They don't want to do the verbal sparring that I know Darn-well we'll get in the Championship game thread.

 

This team looks a lot like the '12 Title team just with slightly less Big Time talented recruits, but the formula is very present.

 

All time Great Defense. ✓

Almost All Time Great Back with a Big, Nasty OLine and speed to burn at WR with some size sprinkled in there. ✓

 

Our 2 QBs bring something different to the table and so far neither have stepped outside of themselves trying to emulate T-Money Mitchell or Jordan Williams as those quys are Legit College QBs and these two we have are solid HS QBs that will likely play different positions at the next level. #8 has some Pat Smith (TSU's/ the OVC's Top WR) qualities but not the overall Raw athleticism and talent but he's not too far. Lil Harris makes me feel good because I was too once a "shorter" QB and seeing him out there shows that he got that Harris Blood strong with his cool demeanor.

I was serious when i said that no shade homie....That is the best Defense I have seen in my short time in memphis.  I really don't know if Cordova can move the ball....No Jab just speaking the truth...I Respect the Da Haven!!!!!

#5 bka Rock is back... He could have had 3 picks last week. I have the utmost confidence in our secondary... AND they playing the Backup QB... If they do their jobs on the back end of the Defense it could be a long night for the Wolves' passing attack, especially for that QB.

Im not worried about revenge because we left some plays on the field...if we make those that game is a blowout...but I look for us to come out and pick up where we left off...our bidnez in Cookeville is more motivation than that. ...they still ain't ready!! They RB's will be running scared. And we owe them a pick. I think they may go to the well one too many times and we gone have it....plus, we are at home!!!! Man am I excited

Things could shake out that Saturday, all day there could be a Memphis team involved in all 3 games... I'm confident of the 2A and 6A outcomes but it's gonna take an upset for the 4A team to make it Memphis vs. Eerrrbody

Mt. Juliet lost TWICE to Ravenwood. Once in the regular season, and in the 2nd round of the 6A playoffs. However, we knew what you meant.

From what I saw of Sports Zone'S highlight of the Cordova vs Ravenwood game, I'm inclined to agree. We will be facing a different QB. We have to treat this as a new offense with him at the helm.

Oh, they will go to the well. That's how they scored on us. They will go deep, as well as, throw the quick stuff. Our 'D' will have their hands full.

That's what I'm hoping for. That would be awesome. I'd be willing to go early to support the other two Memphis schools and just make a day of it. Just sit in the stands and watch all three if they let me.

 

Would we have to purchase a ticket to each game if that becomes a reality?
