Some sad news from Sequatchie Co.  Some of you who have attended Sequatchie Co. Football games over the years may have knew this gentleman but you certainly have heard his voice.

Mr. Wayne Reynolds the long time "Voice of the Indians" passed away yesterday at the age of 89.

Mr. Reynolds served as the Public Address announcer for Sequatchie Co. Football for 49 years from 1964-2013.

In 1954 he helped co-found the Sequatchie County Quarterback Club and served as a QB Club officer for over 20 years.

He was Co-Chairman of the Athletic Building Committee and supervised the construction of the Football Complex.

He was inducted into the East Tennessee Football Hall of Fame in 1988, TSSAA Hall of Fame in 2001, and was East Tennessee TSSAA Contributor of the year in 2002.
