RCKickOffFootball
New Region 3 should benefit all the county schools when it comes to wins and losses. Dropping Smyrna and adding Coffee County should result in another win if recent history tell us anything but it will make those in county games even more important. Region 3 Blackman High School (Murfreesboro, TN) Coffee Co. Central High School (Manchester, TN) Cookeville High School (Cookeville, TN) Oakland High School (Murfreesboro, TN) Riverdale High School (Murfreesboro, TN) Siegel High School (Murfreesboro, TN) Warren Co. High School (McMinnville, TN)

Lost Old Dad
Have they at least painted the 'Chief' statue yet? He hasn't been painted since Rankin left! His getting his fresh coat of paint was an every winter task for the team.

We had offered to pay to have it painted and had found an artist to do it right last fall and were told it was a Nolan project. We'll stay on it and make sure it gets done before next season. Its gotten to the point where it will have to be blasted and repaired before it gets painted.

That is the first question I get from the 'clone' every time he calls home. It was REALLY bothering him. He went over to look at it when he was home on leave Christmas time. Came home cussing a blue streak after he saw it.
oldschooldawg30
Well as of 2-2-17 there is NO schedule on the teams web site either. Is anybody doing anything with the team as to weight training and conditioning? For that matter have we got a strength Coach YET? On the web site it still says TBD. the website went to crap after wyant left, i had always thought riverdale had the best high school website i had ever seen at the time in the early 2000's, the tomahawk chop played, had stats from all games and recent news, links to national ranks, mr football winners, records against each team "updated records, not just til 2006" just about anything you cld think of, and everything on the old website was clean and neat and it was updated weekly not once every now and then with a copy and paste from the dnj

Looks like you don't have a true pulse of the program since they've hada former D1 college coach running the S/C program since last summer. Then they should have put him or her on the web site. When the program was at its peak, there were enough Coaches to go around for LOTS of things. ie there were 17 Coaches with the program at one time. Then there was the Freshman team Coaches that 'helped' Varsity on Friday nights. Pulse, no as my son graduated the year before Coach A started. There does not seem to be many Dads from the current team on here.
TDCman
LOD, what year would this have been? Yes, I've been cleaning up my computer. Really miss the days when they published those spreadsheets so you could track progress. Accountability was more than talk back then. NAME Number Class WT.
