OAK RIDGE 2017 FOOTBALL

Hardin Valley will only play the starters one series.  That could be 3 plays.  Or one play if they give it to Dykes and he scores.  Can't tell much from one twelve minute quater in a jamboree.  The only thing we learned at the Heritage scrimmage is that Heritage lost everybody and is not good.  We did pretty well at Murvil, but I don't think our 1's got enough work.  That wasn't our call though.

 I think we have a chance to be pretty good.  We will need to be better on defense than we were a year ago.  Replacing Kendall Clark is proving to be even tougher than we knew it was going to be.  We are losing a ton of production there.  Kendall was a turnover forcing machine.

Much as I love Kendell someone will step up, always do. Maybe not as good but they will get better.

Agreed. The Adams kid will be great by the time he's a SR.

We have nobody close to Clark! I just saw HVA play Fulton to a 0-0 tie and Dykes didn't play...if he did, it wasn't much. We are in trouble I'm afraid. Farragut  looked like a college team. I am worried about our early season schedule. BAD SCHEDULING GADDIS!

I understand some of y'all are upset at the scheduling, but I would much rather play a good team early in the season than blow out a lesser team. The players will get better by playing good teams. It will be benefitual in the long run.

Hey Ya just play Em as they come and hope for the best!  And like I've said before Gaddis probably didn't have much choice who we played and when. That is if you want to play those first four. Could just go with cupcakes with our non district games and not worry about it.

The thing is, Scott, Seymour, AC, and Powell will be good tough games for Clinton. We are not on Oak ridge's level. I don't see clinton blowing any of those teams out, or getting blown out. Should all be good games.

Wasn't sure if David Clary had announced this. Knew about it but couldn't say anything until David did.
