Bradford in Class A appeared 7 consecutive years in the state tournament...1995 through 2001. They had 30 or more wins each of those seasons, winning the gold ball 4 times during that stretch.

I got to attend school with those girls. Very lucky to watch some of the state's best.

I got to watch them too, but couldn't count myself lucky...those teams usually managed to lose the region championship game and come to Scotts Hill for substate. We never got over the hump and beat them, but it was even tougher giving them a good game, then watching them walk through everyone at Murfreesboro. Our girls had some great teams that never got to state because Bradford and Gleason ruled 1A back then, but I felt that "we" (SH) were better than most everyone else. Have to admit that, even though we lost, those were some great games and great teams.
