No comments from anyone is not surprising. Talented senior class that wins state then destroys property at the field soon after. Par for the course, pun intended. Refused to schedule Union City or us, Huntingdon. Congrats on a great year but they'll never be considered a serious program. Wouldn't play McKenzie either.

What did they destroy?

I think its because no one wants to talk about the elephant in the room. Picking a guy with 2 years of coaching experience to head up a team that just won a state championship. As I posted in the other thread, who else applied?

I'm skeptical with the fact that he is a young coach with limited experience but on the same token the boys like him and I can see him staying for awhile. Doubt that Dresden is really afraid to play Huntingdon, McKenzie or anyone else. Dresden will still be a player and have a very stout younger group in the works.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
