I m hoping the South Fulton /West Carroll  game will be for 3rd place. But not putting cart before the horse as injuries, fumbles turnovers could play a part. But I guess you said unless something crazy happens.

Lake County is beat up somewhat with several injuries. Hopefully in the next few weeks LC will get the injured back. Luckily after the Humboldt game LC has a bye. The Humboldt game might be somewhat closer than everyone thinks due to injuries.  I believe Humboldt has only scored 7 pts this season so far.

Halfway through the season it appears our four playoff teams will be as most expected- S.Fulton, Lake Co., Dresden, & Greenfield. But anything can happen in the last part of the season. Will be fun to watch everything unfold.

I'll give Greenfield props. First period last night they were ready to play. Wasn't afraid of our team at all.

Greenfield always plays hard. I know the injury bug has hit Dresden.  It also has hit Lake County.  Hopefully both teams will get their injured back before playoff time. How is the Crawford kid? I know he took a nasty hit in the LC game.

Crawford got to play around 3rd qtr. He did really good, no let up or any issues and the juggernaut Yates had it just kept going. Crawford being out I think it may be a required protocol with a certain, set amount of time goes by after seeing doctors before he could return from concussion. And that timeline ended in the 3rd quarter. IDK. My pure speculation. Or it was simply  coaches decision & strategy. While Crawford gone we did super, while he back we did just as good. And when all our other key players are back, these Lions will be on another plane than they are now. Beating Trenton with an incomplete, patched together crew will speak volumes about the team Dresden has. I hope everyone underestimates Lions & think we overrated and just had a one-and-done year, that we not that good any more. That'd be sweeeet!

Nobody I know is underestimating Dresden.  LC is just hoping for another shot at the lions.

Well when it comes to Greenfield and WC they have two common opponents so far Dresden and Bruceton

 

Greenfield lost to Dresden 42-0 WC lost 41-6

 

Bruceton beat Greenfield 45-8 and beat WC 14-0
