2017 Class 4A Coaches Preseason Poll: Murphy Fair Magazine

The 2017 Edition of Murphy Fair's High School Football Preview is just a few weeks away from hitting the shelves.  It will be the 30th year that he had released the magazine.  

 

Class 4A Top 10:

 

1.)  Greeneville 

2.)  Memphis East

3.)  Marshall County 

4.)  Elizabethton

5.)  Liberty Tech

6.)  Spring Hill

7.)  Haywood

8.)  Maplewood

9.)  Stone Memorial 

10.)  Springfield

I don't see why everyone is ranking Liberty so high, lost all their playmakers from last year as well as their coach

Macon Can beat 6-10. Haywood would give them a great game. Mw and sf needs to switch bump SM and add MC

These kinds of things are only good for talk.A drunk monkey might as well do the polls..I seen my son on a team that was ranked number one at Dobyns Bennett and they got beat in the first round to a team that was just over .500 for the season.

Every single skill position player returns.  But they're replacing most of offensive and defensive lines

OK henry county plays them week one just was curious as to what they returned this year

I think Dyersburg should be around 8 to 10. Very young but loaded with talent. Absolutely smoked Memphis East in a scrimmage.

I don't know what scrimmage you were at, but you all scored twice to our three. Some of our better players were out that scrimmage, but hey Spring doesn't matter. It is in November when it truly counts. We got booted out of the top 10 last year after losing our first game to Cordova. So, polls really don't mean anything. We'd rather stay out of them. Only matters if you are the last man standing. See you in Novemeber!
