You know they have medications for people like you. Why can't you get on the site and talk football instead of constantly degrading and throwing jabs at people. I rarely respond on Coach T, but your comments and predictions are utterly ridiculous.  Yes, Oakland squeezed out the win last night, but the Rebels also played them down to the last minute. Minus 4 or 5 of their key position players, they still held their own agains a decent Oakland team with quite a few athletic play makers.  The Rebs will be fine for now and even better once they get a couple of guys back on the field. What was your thought on the game itself and not the parents? If you even watched or listened.

This. After seeing all three teams play I think Blackman is a couple touchdowns better than both Oakland and Maryville. Maryville wasn't at full strength with the QB sidelined so that can certainly change things. Long season to go.

General thoughts from the storkvision broadcast.

Oakland is as physical of a defense as there is in 2017. They hit.

Need to work on kicking game. That's a missed xp and field goal in back to back weeks. No bueno.

Missed #1 a lot. Just lots of things he can do that the young guy can't do....yet. Defense was able to attack all night without much fear of being burned. And that's ok.

Not a bad performance all things considered. Get healthy, fix mistakes, and the rebels will be fine in November.

I am amazed Maryville only lost 17-14 to a darn good Oakland team. Especially without Dylan Hopkins. Young QB did well but he isn't Dylan Hopkins. Catholic lost to Maryville but their physicality put a hurtin on Maryville. Lot of kids hurt. To have any chance of going far in the playoffs Maryville needs Dylan Hopkins to come back.

Just one man's opinion, but judging from what I saw last night, Maryville doesn't need Hopkins per se to make it to the semifinals. I do think Maryville matches up better with Blackman but won't know for sure until November
