I'm sure whitwell was a little worried going into the 4th quarter only leading 8-3 to a team everyone said whitwell would mercy rule. Whitwell played great defense and Bledsoe obviously had to play good defense to keep it close going into the 4th quarter. And yes the 0 yard punt and not getting the first down on 4th down and the dumb penalties they committed was whitwell hurting themselves. I agree.

What kind of mess is this? I garuntee you that Mathis man has a better offence.  You could only gain 26 yards.  You have to go 100 yards to even get down the field.  You think im joking but im not.

We will win this game no problem at all. Coach Mathis will not have to use any of his good plays for offense on this game. We will just use our regular ones and will be able to beat Pikeville pretty easy. The coaches are saving some of our best plays for the game next week because Pitchburg will be better than Pikeville. We will show Whitwell what a good team looks like this week. We will win this game by 42 points.

Bledsoe is about to throw down with an angry jasper team that has something to prove. It could be a long night. The good thing will be what better team to get back on track with than Grundy the following week.

x factor in this game will be the slick track.  wet field has to favor Bledsoe co. but will it be enough, probably not.  Marion just wants to get the win and exit out healthy for the showdown with sp.

I've thought the same thing since seeing the forecast for Friday... Gonna slow us down a step but not enough to matter I don't believe!!!

I dont predict Bledsoe to win this one but, It's to soon for me to count them out. I look at the progress that Sequatchie has made since the Soddy Scrimage to the Jamboree to the SP game and lastly the MC game. Honestly after the Soddy scrimage, I had an awful un easy feeling about the season. Obviously Coach Caine yanked some knots in some tails during the last two minutes of the Whitwell scrimage and I've saw a 180 out of the team ever since that exact moment. So I will delay judgement on the B Warriors till I see what the new coach has worked out of them fellers.

You will beat Bledsoe County soundly. As for the showdown with SP. Marion County has the advantage at the skill positions this season. I personally think it will be a great ball game. Regardless of the outcome I think both teams go deep. I like Marion's chances to beat Trousdale in the quarterfinals a little more than SP's chances of beating the Coalfield and Greenback winner. I also expect Sequatchie to go a couple of rounds again this year, but won't make the semifinals again until next season.
