Problem i see us that we had a system were a team like peabody would already be locked in. It was the z plan. Z plan was far superior to garbage we have now. But too many coaches and fans cdied cause they did not undsrstand it. They got what they want. A simple plan

 Unfortunately it gives us a weaker playoff field.

I totally see your point, but there are two ways to look at it. Four teams per region make the playoffs...if you finish fifth, you may be the fifth best team in the state, but you had your shot.

   Basketball is worse in my opinion, district and region seeding works...but the "best eight in state" never make the 'boro.

These 5 teams are all top 10 teams in my opinion. Waverly is the only reason why this region might not play for another state title.
