No sir, what did I say that's not true? A Greenback supporter said someone would get blown out in the semifinal. I was taking up for these teams saying no that won't happen.

Silly me bass, I quoted the wrong guy....happens from time to time....I agree with you....I meant to quote the other guy....you're spot on as usual. Vic will keep the semifinal close.... SP may even have a chance to win it. My Tigers will have to play better to beat SP in 3rd round.

I think SP needs to play better to beat Whitwell again in the quarterfinals. They played ok up until the fourth quarter.

Both teams have things to clean up but when teams are equal they tend to not play "clean" . If not for defense making a couple of stands you get a 28-8 game. Whitwell offense will have to play better to give the defense a break. Also The coaches need to find a way to get better field position. SP started at the 45 all night.

I agree with you. Whitwell was close to having a chance to win, but SP was close to being up 28-8 and ending the suspense as well. Whitwell was kicking the ball to the SP upbacks most of the night. It's hard to back a team up deep when you don't kick it deep. It looked like they were ok with SP starting between the 35-45 everytime. That puts a lot of pressure on your defense though.

Old OX is sipping on the brown jug again, you can't pay any attention to anything he posts after 5 pm or before 8 am. Over here in the east we should just pack it up after the regular season and go ahead and mail Huntingdon the gold ball. If we do keep playing though the 3rd and 4th round games will be dandies. I just hope the Mighty Fightin Cherokees can make it past Coalfield to have the opportunity to host the Pirates or Tigers.

I'm hoping to catch one of these battles for the east.  Cloudland should be much stronger next year.  Right now,  we run the power I but we run it behind a smaller and weaker line than the one we had in 2001.

Hoping SP gets to welcome Cloudland to South Pittsburg at some point the next 4 3 years in the semifinals. It's long overdue. LMBO
