Have no problem with the kid. Great player and even better kid but not more deserving than Foutch. The problem is, I have no issue with who wins the award, I was just letting people know I believe he deserves it. Will I sleep the same if he doesn't win the award? Yep, but it seems you have a problem with my opinion which is fine but we are to the point now where I am saying and have already stated that STATISTICALLY he isn't deserving but he is the best player on what I BELIEVE is the best team in the division.

If you take what the guys do against their top three opponents, it's a much better gauge for judging who deserves these awards. All of these backs have 4-6 games a year they could rush for 500 yards.

Wow, I was at the MJCA/FCS game and we saw two completely different games.  Yes, Hylick clicked off the one big run when FCS had no safeties and he beat one LB.  For the rest of the game he maybe got

Just out of curiosity, have you seen any of these kids play who do not play FCS??? Hewitt? Myers? Norton? It doesn't sound like it to me so I'm not sure you can really speak on his behalf and compare

I have no issue with him being mentioned at all. He is a great player.

Glad we can agree. Also I will be honest I know him very well, and what I will say about him is he would rather win a state championship than mr. football. Much like all the other players mentioned I assume. Thats what it is all about. Hope everyone stays healthy.

I have only seen Hudl on the FC kid. What schools are recruiting him?

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
