#1 & 48 for Boyd have been riddled with injuries the past two years but are very worthy.  Work ethic, grades, stats(when healthy), leadership are qualities that they possess and should not be overlooked because their stats don't reflect numbers. Great players with injuries should not be over looked.

Booger not frettin over this compettion......against the level of play as a whole that most of these young studs r playin gainst.....Fant could get ole Booger on the front page of the stat sheet...if the coach wanted it......this is one compettion not much Booger energy is wasted over

I feel like the new format for Mr. Football favors those who are outstanding on both sides of the ball, which is probably the way it should be anyways. But it will be interesting to how the changes afffect the award.

Noah Henderson from CPA is a stud. Can't believe his name has not been mentioned. Eric Gray has to be the front runner among the many talented players mentioned. Some of these kids have had tremendous years for really good teams.

Noah is indeed a great player. I felt guilty about listing more than one CPAer though. Noah’s number is 25.  Great hands, size, strength, and speed.

This year’s junior class is loaded with great athletes.  And no, they didn’t just show up.  They’ve played together since middle school.

I hinted for years to the 3A posters that when this class turned into juniors CPA would be scary good. It’s nice to see that happen.  This year’s team is also the strongest and biggest (both quantified by measurements) that Coach Martin and staff has had at CPA. Both testaments to great strength and conditioning coaches.

He won last year. His production has not waned. It should already have his named carved on the name plate for this year. Should he play next season injury free. He will get the award next season.

He's the current best. Point blank. Regardless of you whining about it.

Haha about "whine."You are the king of it on these boards. Lol  Just a fact though. Someone else agreed and said it here the other day out of the blue. Made me think about all of your silly, downright odd posts. The kid was third last year at best but this stuff happens alot in HS voting.  Keep pumping Memphis though. It'll maybe distract from the corruption and crime?
