I never understood why WV even hired him or has kept them all these years, other than they don't care anything about the football program.  They probably have the best band in Tennessee, so maybe the WV fans come to the games just to see the band.

Not recently, but WV's full marching band has more members than UT's, and they're very good.

It is a band school now.

Some folks say that about DB too.     Well, did not know that there was another HS band around that could match DB's

Few years ago they had a football player or 2 play in the band during half time. The band use to play after the games also,  not sure if they still do this.

The Walker Valley Band played after the game this past Friday, but maybe only because it was their homecoming. McMinn's band played also.

There weren't many WV fans leaving the stands after the game, if any. There may have even been people coming into the stadium after the game.

The WV fans were actually yelling some obscenities' to the McMinn players and fans because they would not hurry and get off the field after the game so the band would play. haha

I think the Band Director is safe, unless he wants to come coach the Tennessee Vols Football team, and replace the band director,  ...umm football coach they have now.

Coaches Hot Seat! Johnnys favorite time of year! Never want to see guys get let go but its just too much fun imagining all the possibilities and what ifs. Most of Johnnys adopted Wilco teams are performing well this season except Franklin. Don't see ole Donnie going anywheres. Thinking Blade is the most overrated dude around, and Siegel made some terrible hire. Where else going to come open?
