it comes down to schedule strength and who want it more,  Cookville must not sleep or Siegel will

beat them like they did last year , beat a good Cookville team.

The couple of games I saw Siegel play,, they start really fast, and will whip you for a quarter and a half

Siegel just need to learn to finish the game, fall apart after half time

Cookville must not Sleep or under estimate. Siegel has played lots stronger opponents

Siegel must play a complete game, finish strong like they start

Yes it is.  Would be very similar to HHS not making it in last year at 7-3.

This is an unpopular opinion but that's why the TSSAA playoff system used from 2009-14 was the best. You win 7 games you should be in the playoffs, you win 4 you should not. Not every region deserves four teams in, while some deserve more. Lenin and the Bolsheviks would love the existing system. "But our schedule was hard!" Bummer. You can't play that card in college football so you shouldn't be able to high school football either. "But we have to travel out of state to find game every year! Poor us!" Bummer for Rutherford teams. You schedule RePublic and complain about having to play Hoover or Bowling Green to fill the schedule. Bring back the Z-plan

I actually agree with you. The longer it went the more I enjoyed the Z-Plan. I wouldn't mind having it back if it rewarded teams more for playing a tough schedule

Especially with the nature of football with injuries and some of these being small regions. A team can lose a key player or two at crucial positions like Quarterback and lose those region games and then roll the rest of the year and it not matter.
