Sorry just now responding but yeah pretty close to it. Rhs forced three turnovers n got one field goal to show for it. Of course have to give eagleville credit for stopping them. Thought the whole complexion of the game changed after a fifteen yard penalty gave eagleville short field n they scored first td. During the same series riverside best d lineman was injured for rest of game. N his two quarters of play he had 3 sacks n I think 5 tackles for loss . He shattered single season sack record w I think 12. Was a huge loss for the panthers

Thanks vandy. It really was a special season w the tragedy that surrounded it. Yeah would've like to make it more special but that's the way the ball bounces sometimes. Good luck to waverly. Hope ya can come home w that gold ball

Like before Friday night knew nothing about eagleville. Same goes for ca. But they r a very sound team w a solid qb. I could tell from scores during the season they could've been first rather than third. They the only team this year to really contain rhs qb frost running n still not give up on the pass

Uve seen eagleville and Waverly both people say Eagleville would be the only team outta region 5 to stay with Waverly in a game what do u think

They r a sound team n like ya like the little short passes n get upfield but the receivers not as good runners as u possess. Secondary is solid but u can still throw on them. Qb can do both but not as elusive as Gavin. Have to give the edge to waverly

Thanks I hope we get r chance to play either one of them lewis county is going to be a handful for us cuz if there size but r speed should help set us over the top with lewis

I think it is quite humorous that "people say Eagleville would be the only team outta region 5 to stay with Waverly in a game" when CA has already beaten Eagleville.  Maybe it is because CA is new to 2A and people don't know much about them.  CA and Eagleville match up again Friday night.  Should be a great game.
