Assistant Coaches/Coordinator: Who could potentially be head coaches soon?

Anyone know of assistants/coordinators that could be HC in the coming years?

First three that come to my mind have to be Kevin Lane who I believe is at Catholic right now; a true winner. Also, an under the radar guy may be the Defensive Coordinator at Bearden. I believe his name is Milan. Nix from Alcoa has to be on the list as well.

Does Lane have a teaching license? Also, Nix will make a fine head coach, but I don't know if it will be at Alcoa because the OC Sweetland may be in that mix. Both are great coaches.

See that's always been the issue I believe with Lane, and I'm not sure.

The answer is no and that's what kept him from getting the job at West.

layne is working towards licensure currently. or what ive been told by csome sources coming out of halls where he calls home from when he was younger like where he was born

Understand.  He's been working on it for a while, now, but without certification most public schools in East Tennessee won't hire a person as a head football coach.
