TrojanSportsFan
WOW! I can't believe that score. How did CPA pull this off? Was Ezell off their game? I know CPA has a great team but to beat Ezell this this. This is a turn around from the regular season game. Looks like CPA wanted this one this time. Hey robjim, Bighurt and OnlineLC you guys quit cheering yet? tsf
rollredroll
Congrats to CPA. Big road win with revenge (common theme in private vs. private matchups tonight) and great recovery after a slow start to the season. Perhaps more revenge versus USJ? We'll see. It was a good run, Ezell. [Edited by rollredroll on 11-22-02 10:18P]
scout
Congrats to CPA. They played a smart game. I saw this matchup in week two. CPA has improved greatly on both sides of the ball. They cut out a lot of dumb mistakes and got some receivers who could catch the ball well. Ezell has not improved much during the season and is still a one dimensional offense, the short pass. Ezell played well on defense but the offense was only a shadow of last year's. CPA stopped the run and put constant pressure on the QB with a three man front. robjim
Thanks guys, it was a great victory. Looks like Bighurt's "good mark" has struck again!! CPA dominated both sides. I post team stats in this thread in a little while. Gotta eat first.
OnlineLC
Great Game CPA Lions, we're really proud of you. As scout mentioned CPA were totally ready for the Ezell offense.
TheAnswer9
I predicted this one this week. I actually did well with my 1A picks--all 4 correct. Congrats to CPA--I believe I was in the 16% minority who picked this "minor" upset. Like I said, the Ezell run had to end sometime. No better time than now!! scout
Wow! Ezell averaged 2 yards per carry! Lost two fumbles and two int's. Robjim, what was the deal on the two do overs? The punt was clearly an invasion of the halo. Two refs were right on top of it but no flag. What went on?
