IFL Classic: Maryville vs Out of State

I dedicate this one to Pepvol. It's 2018. Why hasn't Maryville scheduled a top out of state program yet? I'll hang up and listen.

All jokes aside, it would be nice to see more competitive games. Does Barney enjoy blowouts every week where the clock runs continuously? You aren't getting bang for your buck. Remember 8 minute quarters? That is basically what you get in 7 or 8 games every year.

my team is Karns we can't even beat the teams on our schedule but it would be nice to see maryville play a great out of state team. what wud it hurt?

Maryville has played Catholic, Oakland, Fulton, and Alcoa in their non-region games in recent years.  Those teams aren't exactly Red Boiling Springs, you know.

An how many times have they actually lost to the teams you mentioned in the past 10 years? Oak once and Alcoa once?

Those teams ain’t bad. Chat area would be better than Murfreesboro IMO, but the okelund/murvil games have been...gooder.

ok well i stand corrected but id still love to see maryville play a great tradition rich program from out of state. take it as a compliment from a loser karns fan for your team being so dominant.

It's expensive. Everyone who wants the Rebels to play out of state should ante up with the donation funds to make it happen. If you guys will do that, I'll try to help make it happen. Put your money where your mouth is!
