Hendersonville beat them up front on both sides of the ball all night. Very impressed with the way they performed tonight. They looked like they knew from pregame on that they were the better team.

Both have potential.  Both need to get stronger and be more physical.  Lots of work to do on the O line as well.  HHS looked very well coached.  THink I’m going to have to go to the MJ game.

Congrats Hendersonville. On paper I thought Hville was better, but did not think the outcome would be that lopsided. Beech, I feel your pain...let's fight it out to see who wants to win 6-5A. We simply wont know that answer for a few more weeks though.

A little too early for real judgements, but I’ve been following Commando football for a long time now and I don’t remember a time when a game against Beech wasn’t competitive. Is this indicative of the Beasley era?

There’s been a lot of great Commando teams over the years that haven’t been able to put that kind of performance against a rival in and I have to think the change of guard is playing a part. What a way for James to come out and make his stamp on the program against a solid Beech team.

I think Beech is just down some like Gallatin.

I remember the 2013 game was pretty lopsided in hville’s favor as well.

Don’t get used to it. Beech and Gallatin are both down this year and Hendersonville has quite a few seniors playing. Beech has some talent, but they’re young. They had the deer in the dead lights look from the time they walked on the field for pregame last night.  Don’t get me wrong, Hendersonville is pretty dang good, but if you expect that to happen year after year because of the change at head coach, you better hang on. It could be a rough ride.
