Springfield vs White House

So now that we have established that Central shut out Portland because their bus was late I have completely changed my mind. But seriously I have not seen every Central game, I usually go to the best game in the County and I was at NE last night. Seems like Creekwood have them all they wanted last night, I would place them ahead of Portland and possibly BDP as well. Of course this could change depending on the health and continued development of Portland’s bus driver.

Yeah it's gonna take a monumental effort to beat Springfield in region play this year.  They just have such a balanced offensive attack.

The defense is still a work in progress.  Looking forward to seeing the rest of district teams play.  Portland, CW, MC all seem improved.

I think we just got hit in the mouth and laid down.  Turnovers obviously killed us too, but it didn’t even seem like the kids wanted to be there.  Our offensive coordinator (and basically the head coach) wasn’t at the game last night because of a family situation, and I think that hurt a lot. We’re definitely better than what we showed last night in my opinion.  But there’s no need to dwell on what happened last night, just gotta move forward and get ready for the next game.

BDP's OC family is in the Yellow Jackets Family prayers

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
