Thanks for picking up the slack for me OnB! Work has been kicking my butt so I’ve not been able to be as active on the T as I usually am. This is not the best game for us to have our homecoming on. In my opinion I think this will be the toughest team we’ve faced thus far this season. For us to come away with a win against the bobcats we’ve got to shut down the running game from the start. If we can do that and do a good job of managing the clock then I think we have a good shot of winning this game. I’m glad to see the Oliver Springs football team turn things around. When OS is relevant, it’s food for Roane county football. Best of luck to both teams. GO BIG BLUE!!!

Gonna throw it out there. Harriman by. . . 14+! I know y'all think I'm crazy but I got a "feeling" about this one :popcorneater:

OS is playing real physical football right now.It could for sure but im going OS by 21.

That first night the game against Bledsoe was in pretty rough conditions after that that defense is really gotten stingy. Best team we've seen so far.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
