Blue Devils go up in Flames (Lebanon visits Blackman)

Interesting round 1 game, Lebanon can compete with the best of them but their lack of offense keeps them from being a threat to make a serious run, I believe the blaze wins this one 35-10. Thoughts?

I will say the Blaze will try and totally blank Lebanon to make a statement going into the playoffs.  This combined with Lebanon's lack of offense will be bad news for Lebanon.

After this week it will be turn in the equipment time for Lebanon.

Blackman will win, but that Lebanon defense is strong enough to hold Blackman until they get gassed in the 2nd half.

The Blue Devils have a really solid defense, they forced 6 turnovers against MJ, on our way to scoring only 14. Unfortunately for Lebanon their offense is often times inept. I see a 34-13 type game.

I just dont see Lebanon being able to hang in there long with the Blaze.

Although Lebanon is much improved, Blackman will win by 24+ points. Coach down in Lebanon however has done a fantastic job getting that program back on its feet.

I am very impressed with the job that Gentry and his staff have done at Lebanon. This proves that with the right coaching, turnarounds can happen, and quickly. The Blue Devils have a stout defense, and you’re certainly not going to be able to run it at them up the middle. Blackman has a lot of speed though, and that will be a challenge. Hopefully the Devils can pull off the upset
