Humboldt Vikings play Haywood tonight in Humboldt & next game at Trenton Peabody on Friday!

Humboldt 72 Haywood 71! Humboldt was down by 10 at half & 15 points in the 3rd quarter due to Anthony Jones (center) only playing about 4 minutes in first Half due to foul trouble! Humboldt regrouped & pulled in out in the final seconds of the game! It was standing room only in Gym & Haywood guard was on fire, hit about seven (7) 3’s but Vikings kept composure & out scored Haywood 43-32 in second half to get win!

Yes, if you look at clock they were down five  (5) points with 1:48 left & held Haywood to one (1) point after that dunk! Haywood played a great game with all their football players back  will help them with a deep bench! Humboldt at Trenton Friday night with winner taking lead in 14A!

Peabody with another win over D burg. Wasn’t pretty, but we will take it. Friday we will see what we are about

Well, I want be able to make it down for Humboldt vs. Trenton but I'm sure it will be a packed house & both teams will be ready to play. Trenton will be looking for revenge after Humboldt beat them in semi-finals of the regional last year and I'm sure the Vikings will come out with great defense & ensure they know were the point guard is at all times. I think Humboldt will be the best team Trenton will have faced this year & I think Humboldt has played a tougher schedule so far but anything can happen on any given night. Good luck Vikings & "show up & show out"!!!!

It should be a great game tonight. Hard to make a prediction this early. But I am going out on the limb and picked Humboldt played some good teams. They are very quick regardless it should be a good game.
