Coach Randolph is his assistant.  He is an excellent coach in both football and basketball.

I totally agree about Coach Randolph. I also know he is fully dedicated to his football program. I would bet if he had to choose between an important basketball prep or a voluntary football meeting, he would be at football. I'm only saying like most small schools in the area, football assistants are more important than basketball assistants. I've seen it happen. Other schools w/o football barely hire enough coaches to staff their athletic program let alone a dedicated assistant coach who wants to help build a fundamental program with a dedicated head coach.

Totally disagree I know Coach Randolph personally he is dedicated to the girls program during basketball season.  He takes care of his football guys in the weight room also.  The head coach may not rely on him a lot, or ask his advice much, not sure what the head coach depends on him to do but he is dedicated to the girls program. He would not take a supplement just to sit there.

I never questioned his dedication to the program. I just mentioned he is football first as he should be. That is his program. Coach Randolph is an outstanding person, coach, and leader. I know Newton and Randolph are close. Always have been since joining together. I also know if there was another basketball coach only responsible for basketball that would be helpful. I don't know one coach who would turn away good assistants. Especially those willing to adopt the head coach or high school coach's (for smaller middle/high schools) skills development and playbook. To find an assistant or middle school coach willing to adapt is difficult because so many are looking to advance in the profession.  I think Newton is a good coach. I think he, like several other coaches in the area, Hagan included, would benefit from a full time middle school coach and assistant.

1 Cascade

2. Eagleville

3. Huntland

4. Moore County

5. Cornersville

6. Fayetteville

!st Round:  3vs 6 and 4 vs 5

3/6 winner plays Eagleville

I am picking Huntland to win District Tournament

The tournament will play out just like standings. All teams will win in region and return to Cornersville.
