Westview up on us 32-23 at halftime in Martin. They've played really aggressive and racked up several fouls in the first half. They've shot the ball well in the first half. The biggest complaint I have about Westview's gym is the internet service/reception.

Great win by GC!!! With Coach Wilkins, we're never out of it. Coach made an adjustment at half and shut down the WV point guard who probably had 17 in the first half. GC wins 46-40!!  We shot FTs pretty good and held WV to 8 points in the 2nd half.

Gibson County is the best team in west Tennessee barring all classes.  And I’m calling then the best A team in the state, looking forward to playing them again.

It was a good game however, IMO GC had some help in their win. The foul count doesn't lie but we could have shot more. Our point guard played well and wasn't shut down, she had to play carefully due to her team being in the penalty with fouls. Good luck to GC for the rest of the season.

GC didn't have as many fouls because they didn't foul. GC started taking it more to the rim. Westview came out the most aggressive team but they ran out of gas. The best conditioned team won tonight. Westview got tired. But I will give them credit. They will be tough in February. They have improved a lot since we played hem the first time.

Appreciate the compliment. Lots of ball left. Us, Greenfield and Clarkrange are the favorites no doubt. But teams like Gleason are getting better and TCA  and I am sure Trenton and Dresden won't roll over either. Lots of good ball left.

Untrue on both fouls and conditioning however both teams played hard. We might not agree on anything else but it being a good game is obvious.

I thought it was one of best officiated game all year. Fouls are called because players foul. They are not going to even fouls out just to appease fans if the other team don't foul. GC is one of most disciplined and best defenses Westview will play. Westview is a good team and has a lot to build on. They are getting better no doubt.
