They are missing those seniors that did all the dirty work for them and it shows. I really was hoping that we would be lower but Greenfield is finally healthy and playing their best ball all year. We have had all 5 starters in double figures against some good teams. You might want to check strength of schedule of the top 10 teams on Coach T. Summertown #3 & Greenfield #7 and no one else of any of top ten teams are in top 18 strength of schedule. (not Clark range, Pickett or Gibson County) Edited January 15, 2019 by Greenfieldfan

(not Clark range, Pickett or Gibson County) Someone correct me if I am wrong but I think the SOS formula that coachT uses is based on the win/loss percentage of the teams you play. I don't think it is weighted on the classification of the team or how good the team you beat really is. For example if you played a class A team that was 18-1 but that team hadn't played any winning teams, that would help your SOS. You mentioned Clarkrange. They have a lower SOS partially because they played Jackson County which hasn't won a game. They beat them by like 60 but that hurt their SOS as it should. They also beat Macon county and Cumberland County which are both in the top 5 of the AA rankings. Those wins realistically are much more impressive than a win over a class A team with a similar record. What if there was a AAA team high in the coacht rankings that has played the majority of its schedule vs AA an A teams with a very good record. Does that mean that they played a really tough schedule? Playing down a classification or two should hurt your SOS regardless of the win/loss record of that team. Playing up a classification should help your SOS. I don't think that either are considered in the current SOS calculations.
Greenfieldfan
I'm not going to argue rankings, it doesn't matter now. It will work itself out by March. There is not a team in the state unbeatable on a given night. Edited January 15, 2019 by Greenfieldfan

Greenfieldfan
Oh I don't go by Coach T on rank of schedule but that's what they have on their site. I think they must have a funny way to rate schedules. Greenfield had 4 losses with out our sparkplug Edie Darby and shes finally back. It gave a lot of girls playing time before Christmas which probably helped our team We will be as good as last year by tournament time.
