I believe Cornersville will have a solid team. They just won’t be as tough as they were the last two seasons. The region should be much more competitive.

At the midway point of the season, Cornersville is 3-2 on the season, losing 2 games they should have won. The 2019 version had to learn how to play together and unfortunately that resulted in the losses. Other thoughts at the mid point?

I believe it was 20-15 and we were driving to take the lead in the 2nd half, fumble the ball scoop and score to make it 27-15. I will say the respect between the coaches and eagleville taking a knee after another fumble deep in our own territory kept the score from being worse. Several turnovers that should have ended in points. Dont get me wrong, eagleville played a great game, just personal opinion it is one we should have won.
