I would think we will see a different set of Offensive plays Friday than last season. The reason being the difference in QBs. Booker was not your normal QB and could make something out of nothing. Gibbons is more of a traditional QB but does has some tricks up his sleeves. If you will recall, Mitchell would tuck the ball and run during his Frosh. season for positive yards and some touchdowns.

I guess my major concerns are turnovers and penalties.

We all know scrimmages are to work on things that need working on. I don't put a whole lot of stock into scrimmages. But the one thing I do put importance into is heart and desire and fight in a team.

Im picking the Cats to struggle 1st half of the yr.But I hope after 4 or 5 games we start to find who needs to be where and what we really have to depend on.So many new guys in key spots will take some reps to get better.Im taking HV 28-10.But I have to admit Ive never felt this uneasy about a team since Stevens last yr as HC.I also admit I have no real feel for how good or bad this team is.I really thought defense would keep us in games until I seen how much we miss all the DBs we lost.They made up for a lack of pass rush we haven't had for awhile.We could get drilled or win and I wouldn't be shocked.We need Romano so I hope he plays.Ill be there every Friday good or bad so GO CATS!

I feel much the same as you. I'm not gonna be surprised no matter what happens Friday night. We could win 28-0 or lose 28-0 and neither would shock me. I hope our offense is better than I expect and I hope the defense is solid.

Are you sure about 7:00? It's been on at 8:00 for the last few years.

A lot of question marks for OR going into their first game but I am confident that they will get everything sorted out. I'm pulling for OR in a close one.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
