Been following the weather a bit, it looks like its gonna rain in our area Friday. Will that affect your alls gameplan any for Loudon? I'd probably give their offense an edge with a runner like Jackson if the weather manages to affect your alls passing game. What you all think from Geeenback? Ofcourse the weather may change as it's just Tuesday.

It rained last year and it probably give the edge to Loudon last year but we were able to squeak one out. If it does rain I would probably?? Give them the edge this year as well. I think our O will be hard to stop regardless the weather. It should be a good ballgame.

I think it goes 1 of 2 ways.If its dry the keep 25 at WR (to try and keep him healthy) and see if they can get him in space with the ball.If its pouring i think he will get the ball just about every play like last year either at QB or RB.They have to keep him healthy to make any kind of run and coming off a CB injury i personally thinks its crazy to get him hit every play in a non region game EVEN if it is for the county championship. This game dont get you in the playoffs!

I agree. The QB and the Turner kid is supposed to be pretty good as well along with #57. It should be a good one.

Hate that for the young man. Is he a senior?

No, he's a sophomore, he is the younger brother to the Lowe boy who transfered from Oakdale a few years back.  I just hope McKinney can stay healthy or we will really be in trouble at QB. McKinney  is more of threat with his legs but it takes away from having two quality wideouts in the line up with him at QB.

    • Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. I wrote about many of the issues here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/11/17/grounds-for-investigation-and-suspension/ I interviewed Winfree after she was dismissed from the team and wrote about it here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/12/01/a-new-interview-with-sable-winfree/ Winfree had been on teams in Warren County since the fourth grade and never been dismissed from a team. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
    • What is the hold up here? I have not heard anything in weeks. Are they waiting for the right person or is something else going on?
    • Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?
    • Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach
    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
