Exit 49 to exit 60 is 10 mins, and then 10 mins from the interstate to Sweetwater school from there. I stay off of 58 Hwy which runs straight to MCHS. I've made the trip to S'water before and it's just longer going up

What I'd "Like" to do is watch Peabody and Milan Thursday but that wont happen considering the drive. Followed by Meigs game Friday. And then make the trip to South Pitt Saturday. I would really like to see Greenback play Loudon but I don't think I'm gonna give up seeing Meigs game to see it. I'm probably gonna go to the Saturday game though and see some competition. Our first opponent, Central is playing at N.Dame so more than likely I will end up at that game...but I was looking at others that we possibly could see in the future. Yeah, last year during our bye week I had a choice of watching you guys play Tellico, or Trousdale vs Whitwell. I knew Tellico wouldn't put up alot of fight with you guys so I chose the longer drive. I at least got to see a good game.
Yeti
Will Meadows seems to have improved alot from last year to this year. I like what I've seen on the field from him this preseason he looks like he has dropped a few pounds and picked up some speed while doing so. New uniforms look good. I almost didnt recognize us on the field during the Jamboree. We ready to go for Friday?
Meeru
If this were a zoo there would be a sign that said don’t tap the glass. Tigers don’t like to be teased and harassed. I had a wildcat once that kept clawing at the electric wires, finally ended up getting more than it had bargained for. Moral- be careful what you ask for; just might get it. I'd be surprised to see much anything besides basic plays ran to keep from injuries as much as possible. If I was a betting man i would be guessing we will grind out a run game, build a lead slowly and be sitting comfortable by the end of the 3rd quarter. I at least hope it plays out this way as long as we keep anyone from getting injured. Hard to say though sometimes Sweetwater has really played us well in the past and they have a coach that used to coach at Meigs for a few seasons who had success with our program. Sandman63
Love this matchup, martin goes up against his old squad. The new team with lots of new pieces, i think meigs wins the game, but sweetwater will make some noise in the game and set themselves up to compete and win some games this year. meigs 42 sweetater
RunnerUp
I played for Mike Martin at Meigs. He is a scrappy guy. Was always ready to get it on. I think we will learn a little about Meigs in this as well as Sweetwater.
