Station Camp at White House

The post-Porter era officially gets underway this week! The Blue Devils welcome county foe the Bison from Station Camp to Dewey Whitson Stadium. The Bison have struggled in recent years and can’t afford to lose to the lower class Devils. However, I like BDP in this one 21-17. WH is hungry and needs to fast start to their season! If Anderson and Neufield have a big night, watch out! Thoughts?

if white house wins as big as the commissioner predicted then station camp is terrible

White House haters coming out super early this year.  I’d imagine the game will be closer than that.  Really not sure though cause I know nothing about station camp and our boys haven’t wowed me at any of our scrimmages.  I hope BDP pulls it out!! Can’t wait til Friday

Has WH showed anything at the scrimmages at all? Are they still running somewhat of a spread in shotgun or have they switched offenses back to a more traditional offense?

Running backs have looked good and we’re bigger upfront than we were last year imo.  It seemed like we were mostly under center but some shotgun stuff too.  The QB looks good physically and has a pretty decent arm, he just seems like he’s not confident.  Hopefully the running game will take off and he won’t have to do a whole lot until his confidence can get built up.

How did they do against Goodpasture?

White House Defense looks suspect. Goodpasture scored on every drive of the Jamboree. Goodpasture also had plenty of success on offense in their scrimmage with WH. WH offense was good running the ball.Goodpasture doesn’t have much size or depth on the D-line.

Our defense has looked suspect in all the scrimmages to me.. hopefully they’ll clean it up.

    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
