Well that can be corrected. If we're at the 1st half then that would concern me.

That Kicker/punter of ours will end up being responsible for sending Greeneville home early this year.

He is Awesome!

Greeneville has a pretty good kicker too. Both teams have an incredible luxury at the position.

Greeneville has a pretty darn good kicker as well. He returns from last year. He’s kicking fgs on point and kicking it through the uprights on kickoffs.

Not to mention he's pretty at good PATs lol

Cows go 7-3.

Powell/South Doyle/Jeff County

Hes not 12th in punting and 46th in kicking in the Nation....is he. :)

If I’m Coach Lowe I’m beating down the soccer coaches door Tuesday morning. Girls and Boys coach.

They need a kicker or its going to cost them

Totally agree. A school that big has to at least have someone who can kick PATs.

I was a kicker and punter. That may be good to start but kicking a soçcer ball and the fundamentals of kicking are a stretch and big learning curve. The problem with kicking field goals and ext pts is you are dependent on the snapper the holder and the blocking. Any one as you know can make you look terrible. Powells kicker may need to just keep his head down and follow through.

Yeah Greeneville has always had a good kicker and that has made a difference. We have actually always been moderately good at kicking and especially not kickoffs or punting nothing like the specialist we have now.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
