MountainTroll
I'm sure my Eagles will play hard to the final whistle, but I'm afraid this one is going to get ugly quick. Red Bank is the real deal this year if they execute to their abilities.

MountainTroll
Tied at 7 at the half. Gotta say I'm pleasantly surprised. Signal's defense has been playing well. Got a couple of turnovers and a couple of big stops.
rlh
It was 14 to 7 early in 4th and RB took advantage of SM attempting to comeback by adding to more scores late including a pick 6. The game was much closer than the 28 -7 final score. 15 for RB is a big quick back not super fast but very elusive and can catch as well. 1 and 2 were good receivers and could catch running the slant when the QB could set up and throw. SM has a very good LB crew and good secondary.

Did they have a great bunch of 8th graders come in to make this such a better team than what they had last year? Just asking!

New coaching staff has instilled more discipline, better work ethic, playing better as a team. After seeing how they beat Soddy and then came from behind to beat Ooltewah, I was expecting more from them. After seeing them in person for a full game, I'm not as impressed, but they still have a lot of potential. Offensive line seems to be a weakness and still some lingering attitude/discipline issues. In all fairness, though, Signal's defense is better than I realized, and our coaches had a good defensive scheme to slow their offensive attack. Infamousfootballfan
I watched that Red Bank game on tv and this is the second week the offense seems to still be trying to click. They looked better against Soddy. If they can fix all the mistakes, they will be fine. The defense looked pretty good, but the offense is still working. I still think Red Bank is a better team than they way they played Friday night. Not sure of what lingering attitude and discipline he speaking, because the new coach is very strict about that.
