Back to the original thread. I think H.V. takes this one. May have a little letdown after beating hampton but think they still take this one .  A whole thread out there for Cloudland and Hampton.

No one wants to talk about it because its a no Brainer. UC is not very good. May finish 3rd or 4th in a really weak 3A region Think anyone one of the top 4 in region 1 2a would stand a great chance of winning that region.

I think Happy Valley will win easily too but a they have a few questions after beating hampton. Which qb plays, can they find more offense, looking at their schedule they have a few weeks to get some of those questions answered.

From what I heard, the QB turned his pads and quit. Then again, that could just be rumor. The other QB actually played better.

Didn't the HV backup QB play last year in that position? I don't think he's an inexperienced player. I know the starting QB took a SHOT about the time he went out but he also picked up a 15yd penalty also.

In my opinion,  it did not make a difference which of the two were in there...They seemed pretty even.

As for kickersdad's question: We blow blocking assignments tooooo often to get the edges and pass the ball on a quick team like HV. Blocking and has to be straightened out or teams will stack the box and give us two yards a down....way too many athletes for that

Yes he did play last year at QB. He has good experience for a backup

    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
