Good win Varo.   I had Mt Pleasant pegged as the favorite in your region.  My bad.

No regerts Southtowner. City is surprising a lot of people this season. Here's to our boys keeping a cool head and continuing on their path. seems like when one piece is missing someone steps up to fill the void.

Yeah, I'm sorry about that.   We had a terrible signal down in Marshall County.   Over half the show was cut out.   I"m gonna have to start factoring that in when we pick a location.  I used to play golf at Henry Horton and I knew Verizon signal was terrible in that area.   I just forgot about it.

Big win for your ball team last night.   I should of listened to my Huntland friends when I picked that game last night.

With Jacaious Clark being out of the lineup, who is Fayetteville's biggest quick-strike threat, and starting QB and running back banged and bruised, I was pretty concerned about this one. However, these boys from Fayetteville stepped it up and played great! This team is definitely turning some heads in 1-A, and I just hoe they keep playing hungry!

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
